Let It Snow Baby... ...Let It Reindeer

For those of you not in Salt Lake, it's been snowing and snowing and snowing (it still is)...every time it does, I take Lily outside to see and she just smiles.  The other night I got her in her snowsuit and she had a ball!

Busy Busy Busy

Lily had some pictures taken the other night with some of her cousins.  We curled her hair!
Getting Beautified!
The finished product.  Sorry it's not straight on, but you get a better shot of the curl like this.
We also got to meet Santa at my brother-in-law's mom's house.  She DID NOT like that one bit (pictures to come) but she and her cousin Sloane sure look cute with their reindeer antlers!

And What to my Wandering Eyes Should Appear...

I posted a while ago how awful of a napper Lily was.  I take back every word.  She worked out the kinks in her sleeping regimen, and we're both much happier these days.  Yesterday we went to a baby shower where Lily got to see her future husband. (He currently resides in Houston, she hasn't seen him since August!)  So, she missed her morning nap, but it was well worth visiting with friends.  We left the shower at 1:00 and she was out before I could put the car in drive.  At 3:00 I wondered if she was still breathing so I went to check, and this is what I saw.  Isn't that little bum just to die for?!  AND, she napped until about 3:30!  OH BLESSED DAY!

Turkey Day and Game Day

We went down to St. George for Thanksgiving this year.  All of Buz's extended Slaugh family went (we missed a few who couldn't make it) and we ended up having 30+ together for the big meal.  We had two turkeys that each weighed over twenty pounds, lots of potatoes, gravy, casseroles galore, and jello.  YUM!
What is this you ask?  That's right, Lily is starting to walk behind things.  She's only 9 months old!  I took her to the doctor, she weighs 13 lbs 13 oz, which is a whopping 0%!  How can something so small be walking already?  I don't know what to do with myself!
Our Thanksgiving Family
Buz got to go to the rivalry game this year, his brother got tickets and decided to take him.  Thanks Steve, Buz had a blast!  This is what Lily looked like when I came into her room after Buz got her ready for the day.
I took charge and got her ready in what she was really going to wear.  I bought this shirt online and shipped it to my parents house so Buz wouldn't know.  Dumb old me, I forgot and it was sitting on their table when he went over.  Surprise ruined.
I know they lost, but don't you think Lily looks better in this outfit?  I definitely do!
