Last week was Spring Break for the U, so we decided to pack our car and head down to sunny Palm Springs for a week! It was so nice, warm, and relaxing. We stayed with my grandma, and she just ate Lily up. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Grandma, for your love and hospitality.
Lily got into mischief as soon as she could...she fits in the cupboards. They're about 6 inches off the ground, so it was the perfect height to climb right in to!
We went to an art festival and did a little shopping in downtown Palm Springs.
Lily loved being outside...
Picking up dirt and grass (and a few bugs too)...
Picking Grandma's flowers, it's a good thing she loves Lily!
Lily loves my Grandma so much. We waited and waited for a table at this little burger joint, and Lily and Grandma made a new friend!
Tyler's. Words don't describe the magnificence found in a mouth watering, fresh, handmade slider. And their cole slaw....let's just say we ate there on more than one occasion!
We lazed by the pool. Lily is SUCH a water baby.
Our fave little Mexican hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Lily got her first ride on a donkey!
There's beautiful hiking all around, so we ventured onto the Indian Reservation and went up Palm Canyon. Look at that tree!
On the way up the trail.
Looks good from up here!
Soooo warm and comfy.
Last but not least, the trip can't be complete without a pic at the Beaver Valley Chevron. We'll get a family photo the next time we drive through, don't worry.
