We Wish You a Merry Christmas...

Christmas Eve we spent at my aunt's house eating a delicious ham dinner and played a rousing game of the dice and candy game.  Takes a lot of explaining, but it's really fun, vengeful, spiteful, and all about hoarding candy!  We also let Lily open one present to set her in the mood.

My family always took pictures lined up on the stairs waiting to see what Santa brought us.  Lily didn't know what was going on, but aren't her Christmas jammies so cute?

The stocking...Santa forgot to take some tags off,  oops!!

After we opened presents at our house, we headed to Buz's parents for breakfast and more presents.  Another family tradition of mine I've carried on...aebleskivers.  They're a Danish treat, kind of like a pancake.  My dad is Danish and went to Denmark on his mission, so we always had these growing up on holiday mornings.  Buz's grandmother is also Danish and his family has had them too, so it's a great tradition on both sides.
After breakfast we headed to my parents (note: still in jammies at about 1 in the afternoon!)  My parents have a dancing Santa that Lily lives for.  We walk in the door to the kitchen and she points at it, says, "dat!!" and starts dancing.  Oh dear.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
